The reference system for Montreal plexes: two torch-welded layers, 25 to 30 years of service life.
Elastomeric membrane (SBS modified bitumen) is installed in two torch-welded layers over fibreboard or insulation. It is the system on the vast majority of Montreal flat roofs, and the one we recommend to replace an old gravel roof or a membrane past its useful life.
A full replacement includes removing the old roofing, checking the deck, correcting slopes toward the drains, adding insulation if needed, then the two membrane layers with flashings and upstands.
We work from mid-April to late November, weather permitting. Allow one to three days for a typical plex.
Leaks, lifted membrane, rusted flashing, blocked drain: fast intervention, often same day.

For pitched roofs in Laval, the North Shore and residential neighbourhoods: warrantied architectural shingles.
